The DOUBLE V GALLERY is located in Marseille and more precisely on Saint-Jacques street at number 28.
For this first exhibition named Memento Nicolas Veidig-Favarel and Véronique Favier, the gallery’s founders, invited seven emergents artists : Sabrina Belouaar, Jeanne Berbinau Aubry, Guillaume Delleuse, Florent Groc, Victor Guti, Ugo Schiavi et Romain Vicari. A very impressive group show !
This first collective exhibition is dedicated to the object and memories. The object is considered as a witness. There’s a lot of artistics forms in this exhibition : sculptures, paintings, photographs, engravings. So many mediums that allow emotion and sharing. The artworks occupy space, confront each other and respond to one another. It’s the promise of an exceptional dialogue. Each work reveals a new feeling. We feel transported from universe to universe and the different techniques create movement in the gallery.
By establishing itself in the historical district, the DOUBLE V GALLERY imposes her contemporary vision and highlights creation. The gallery attracts a lot of different visitors, this is what creates the unique personality of this place dedicated to contemporary art. It’s a new meeting place in the 6th arrondissement of Marseille.
The gallery will presents five or six exhibitions a year. Collective exhibitions as well as solo shows, from the young creation to the most confirmed artists : this is why this gallery has no barrier. This renewal brings a certain freshness and the desire to share a good time around this beautiful exhibition.
